Wanted: Trumpet Players

Ezekiel 33:6 “But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.”

God here in this verse describes the job of the ancient watchman on the city walls, who were to blow their trumpets if they saw an enemy approaching, and warn the inhabitants of the city. If they did not do their job, the Lord held the watchman “guilty” of the blood of those who were not warned, and were surprised and killed by the enemy. He compared this watchman to preachers and prophets who were to warn the people of their sin, so they could repent, and turn from their sinful ways, and spared the judgment of God.
Isaiah 58:1 “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.”

Are you a compromising preacher, who soft soaps and minimizes sins, and never preaches against it?
Are you a Christian, that does the same thing. Who never obeys the Lord, and never witnesses to people, and warns them of Hell, or who does witness, but never deals with the person’s sin problem. When you do this, yes, you can get a profession of faith, but the person often is deceived, and their life never changes. They do not get born again. You go by their house to take them to church, and you can never find them. When I got saved. I went to church on y own and said “Pastor, I got saved, I want to get baptized today.”
The world is at it’s worst condition, filled with violence, every kind of debauchery and evil. We are almost into the Great Tribulation, and the Rapture is next.

Have you ever read the book of Revelation, and realized how horrible it will be? The first plague, 2 Billion people die, water will be scarce because of the plagues the two witnesses smite the earth with, when they turn the water into blood. Food will be scarce, severe earthquakes, volcanoes, and every natural disaster your mind can fathom will strike the earth. Men will gnaw on their tongues because of the plague heat God says He will send. (Not global warming, God! Revelation 16:9 “And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. 10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,”)

We are only a “blink of an eye” away from this terrible time starting. The Rapture will happen next, that fast, and the 7 year Great Tribulation starts.
1 Corinthians 15:51 ” Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

When was the last time you heard a sermon telling you to repent of your pornography, to repent of your adultery, drinking, drunkenness, immorality?
When was the last time your church challenged you too leave your “comfort zone” and deny yourself and be crucified with Christ and take up your cross

We need fearless prophets!
Not compromising preachers tickling our ears.

America needs this:
We have sunken so low into the vile pit of sin that we are killing babies and selling their body parts at Planned Parenthood. What makes America so wicked, is that we have bible preaching Churches all over. Judgment is more severe according to how much light you have.

Yes, we are on the winning side!
If you are a born again Christian, you have already won.
However, we need to take our neighbor with us to Heaven.
Are you doing what you can?
Are you a “slumbering dog that can not bark”?
Are you that kind of watchman?
Isaiah 56:10 “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.”
Stamp your foot, cry aloud, be God’s prophet.

Ezekiel 6:11 “Thus saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.”
